Some familiar shapes or objects may suddenly appear in new light, as a revelation. It is the Freudian "Unheimlichkeit" (uncanniness), but also the fun and surreal encounter with our environment from a refreshed eye. This is what happened, when an involuntary gesture flattened a box of cakes to reveal an owl with its wings wide open, upon the unfolded inserts of torn paper. Playing with colors adds an infinite number of new perceptions to the unveiled form of this versatile silhouette.
