Sculptural coffee table

A continuation of the iconic 'Branches' console table, the GRUME coffee table is the second opus in the 'Clairière' series.

The shapes of this furniture, in smooth, gouged oak, create a play of balance that contrasts with the robustness of its three assembled volumes. The stumps and trunks are lopped up, as if in a clearing, to create furniture that is both functional and sculptural.  

This new project is the fruit of a collaboration with cabinet-makers based in Brittany (France), highly skilled craftsmen who bring wood to life.
